Tattoo Consultation (jotform.com)
-You’ll be directed to my consultation form to fill out the information to get your file started.
-ITS FAST- Typically I respond within 24 HOURS!
-I will offer a selection of dates/times available to meet at the studio for a consultation.
-In person consultations are preferred. It’s the easiest and most effective way to communicate ideas and strategy.
-Some projects require photos of the area or tracings of the body so I can design to fit your anatomy.
-Video calls can be arranged! If a client is travelling a long way for their tattoo, and making an extra trip for a consultation just isn’t viable. However, if an in person meeting can be done that is way more reliable for anatomy assessments
-
BRING your inspirations to the consultation
-I love going through all your photos and screenshots you’ve been saving. This will really help bring your concept to life. I am focused on creating a unique piece of art individualized for you.
-Seeing what you don’t like can also be just as important as seeing images you do like
-We will discuss:
-size
-placement
-black and grey or colors
-approximate cost
-
BOOK your tattoo appointment!
-To secure your tattoo appointment you will need to pay a retainer fee.
This goes towards the end cost of the tattoo, it also secures your tattoo appointment.
If your project is larger, I require a retainer for each day booked.
Please review my Policy section so you are fully informed prior to coming to your tattoo appointment. We can discuss if you have any questions or concerns about the process.
-We will book your appointment date and time.
I always try my best to accommodate a clients schedule, but I also have to book in relation to my current workload. Typically I can get you in for your tattoo 1-3 months after the consultation- depending on the size of your project.
-When will you see your design?
- The day before your appointment I will email your design, an info list for your arrival, a brief aftercare summary, and aftercare products to consider.
Booking Policy
-
These are part of my process, and have been set in place through years of experience in the industry. The are standard today with most artists, and maintain a healthy respect to the end goal for both parties.
*Retainers are non refundable.
*Rescheduling 72 hours or less before your appointment will result in your retainer being forfeited and you will have to pay a new retainer for a new appointment.
*Arrive on time
More than 15 mins late for your appointment can result in needing to be rescheduled and a new retainer paid.
I know this may seem tight, but some days I see multiple people. If I have one client show up late, plus resizing stencils, if its a tricky placement, or other factors that can really set the remainder of the day up for failure. A lot of my clients have heard me say “what time can you comfortably arrive by?’’ That’s because I don’t want either of us to be stressed out or have panicky energy running through our system for this type of appointment. I just want a good experience, and a good outcome for you and I.
*I do not make changes to designs day of the appointment.
I draw in advance so I am prepared to give you the best tattoo I can. If revisions to the drawing are required I need to know in advance. If it is a very small change I may do it day of, however if I am uncomfortable in design changes it may result in your appointment being postponed.
This is permanent piece of art on your body and I have to be certain the changes will work.
*If you come to your appointment with compromised skin in the area I’m going to tattoo- the appointment will have to be rescheduled and a new retainer paid.
You are in charge of your Pre appointment care - Reminder I have a 72 hour reschedule policy.
Ex:bruises, sunburn, rashes, antibiotics, cuts
*I do not tattoo people that are pregnant or breastfeeding- let’s wait until you are completed that wonderful stage in life with your child.
*18+
Anyone under 18 is not permitted to come to appointments.
*You are welcome to have a visitor stop in, but I do not have space at my work station to accommodate another person in the area. However the studio does have a reception area with couches for guests to relax.
*I have a zero tolerance for intoxicated people, extreme body odours, rude/disrespectful comments and behaviour
The tattoo appointment will end. Non negotiable
